Practicing as an internal medicine physician, Dr. Pardee has a diverse background in patient care. She holds a strong understanding of clinical guidelines and policies based on the changes in our healthcare and social climate. While practicing medicine, Dr. Pardee always felt that women’s health and mental health were areas that called for more attention. So, in 2012, Dr. Pardee started working closely with pharmaceutical companies to find better solutions for women in various stages of life and for anyone dealing with mental health problems. Her extensive research background and her compassion for her patients make her a unique clinician.
Dr. Pardee has been providing integrated primary care for women for over 20 years, caring for their gynecological needs as well as their internal medicine needs. In fact, the ease of having all of a woman’s needs met with one physician is what attracted most of her patients to her. From young adulthood to the transitional stage of menopause, she has seen each of her patients through it all, taking into account their unique journeys, meaningful connections, and individual experiences.
Dr. Pardee has a special interest in hormonal variations and how they affect the body, mind, and brain. For example, menopause is associated with a significant increase in blood pressure. Diabetes and high cholesterol occur 2-3 times more often in postmenopausal women than premenopausal women. Dr. Pardee is passionate about preventative care, and knowing what lies ahead to prevent it is key to a long, healthy life.

Most medical offices have time constraints which result in "cutting corners" or generalizing the patient as numbers and lab values. We believe the first step of caring for a patient is awareness. We are aware of you, as a woman.
At Prive Medicine LA, we feel that it is vital to have a doctor who understands that your mental health and your physical health do not occur in isolation from one another. We see the mind, body, and brain as interlinked. Your physical, mental and emotional needs affect your health. We integrate all aspects of your well-being to achieve optimal health and healing.
It is important to have a doctor who knows how sex and gender, as well as age and race/ethnicity can affect health.
Yes, it is. Having problems with memory, concentration, or focus is very real. It happens more often than people realize. And this is not just seen with hormonal changes, this can occur at any point in life. It is ignored too often. Together, let’s figure out what the cause is and how we can improve your cognition. With treatment and repeat testing, we have seen improvements that make life brighter… and less cloudy.
Neuropsychological testing measures how well your brain works. You can get tested with our premiere PhD neuropsychologist who works in collaboration with Dr. Pardee. Together, we can give you an overall picture of how your brain is functioning and what we can do to keep it healthy and happy.
